Owl Quilt

Making this quilt for my daughter and her husband's expected arrival.  Should be here in September sometime.  We don't know if it is a boy or girl, but we do know she's having only one this time.  The twins are a bit disappointed because the girl wants a little sister and of course the boy wants a little brother.  We'll just have to wait.  Been busy in PA, getting a lot done with the arrangements for the house, but of course there is always time to quilt.  It's great seeing my daughter and her family here, its always a joy when I can spoil the grandkids.  In the picture above the kids are... from left to right... Raegan, Bryce and Ryland.

More Paper Piecing Blocks

Boy, this class has some great students!  The color choices have all been marvelous and the attention to detail is great!  Here are a couple more blocks that are done or almost done.  Hopefully we'll get some pictures when they are completed and can share them with everyone.

Great job again ladies!!

Paper Piecing Success

We had one paper piecing class and have another one scheduled for today.  Here are a couple of pictures from the first class.  Yes, one of the ladies chose a different pattern.  It has several of these hearts with grid-work.  A cute baby quilt in the making!  They are both going to be terrific once they are done.  Look for pictures in the near future.

Good job ladies!!!

She did it!!!

Karen's T-Shirt Quilt is done, all but the binding, and it's ready to give to her son.  It's almost all Grateful Dead T-shirts and the border is the PERFECT selection.  Janice did the quilting, it turned out marvelous.  Good job Karen!!!
