PA Quilt group is growing and making LOTS of progress.

Yes, we have a new visitor with our quilt group.  Welcome to Val!  She did her first quilt with Nancy and she's done a couple since.  Busy making baby quilts.

Val's FIRST quilt!  She did a Take-5 pattern.  It's completely done, all tied
and binding finished.  GREAT job!

Val's first baby quilt.  She's doing a couple more too.  She's
doing a fantastic job.  A true natural quilter!
Nancy finished her "double-sliced layer cake" pattern.  She put sashing
between all the blocks and it looks terrific.  Another great job!

Sharon did a "Take-5" pattern in blues.  I really like the
small inner border with the larger border and binding.
Awesome!

Sharon put a border on her BOM quilt.  It really
finished it off.  Shown on the left is Jan, Sharon is
on the right.

This is the right side of the hanger.
This is the left side of the hanger which
holds the Civil War Quilt that I made
for Larry.  He did a great job making
this hanger so we can display it.
This is the civil war quilt I made for Larry.  It has several
pictures of his relatives who fought in the Civil War plus a
few others.  I am going to make a smaller long
wall-hanging which will show the pictures and
who each one is.  This should hang just across
the hallway from this bigger quilt.
Jan's BOM quilt is done, with borders and
all.  She's going to have it quilted then once
the binding is done, Bill plans on using it
while watching TV.  This is Jan's first
quilt.  A little intricate for a first, but she
took the challenge and did great.

This is the "Maze" quilt that I recently finished.  It was
quite the challenge, but love how it turned out.  I'd like to
find some Victorian Village type fabric and put another
border on it.  Then I'd applique a small bench in the center.
If I don't find that, I plan on finding some "mouse" kids
fabric and put a piece of cheese in the center.  Two totally
different looks, we'll see what I find.

Sewing Room is DONE!

Yes, the shelving is all done for my sewing room.  My goodness, what a difference.  I have lots of room now, need more stuff.. LOL

I know you've seen this picture before, but it just had to be
put on again along with the next picture.

This is the "after" picture of my storage wall.
Not only does it look organized, it truly IS organized.
My scrapbooking stuff is on the left and my
quilting things are on the right and some
to the left also.  It is great!  I can go straight to
what I need, no more moving things to find
something.

This is the "before" of my ironing board and more stuff.  The X in the old
ironing board was just wasted space.   Now...
This is the "after" ironing board.  No more wasted space.  All my
stash fabric is easier to get to, no more big plastic bins marked by colors.
Batting and magazines, all easily found.
