Then we were OK'd to go on our annual winter trip to Tucson. After a short time, he got sick and within 32 hours of diagnosis, he passed away on February 13th. This was a difficult time for the whole family. The road to recovery is difficult but do-able with the love and compassion shown to us all by family members and friends.
It still seems a long way to go to get used to our "new normal", but it's in our future somewhere. It's time to get back to this blog as life does go on. I want to thank you ALL who have been a part of that recovery for us. It would be much more difficult without you.
