Our Son and family's first visit to PA

In May of this year, our son Josh, our daughter-in-law Alex and the grandkids Christopher and Jesse were able to come visit Larry and I's home in PA.  We had it built when we moved here in 2013.  Larry enjoyed working the 10+ acres we have and I got to decorate the house.  Our dream home for sure, it's exactly what we wanted.  And yes, I am staying here, no intentions of moving back to Tucson.  It's a little too hot there for me anymore and although I miss all my friends and family back there, PA is the place for me.

They have arrived!  Waiting for them
at Rochester Airport, I was sooo excited
to see them walking towards me.

My favorite picture of the week!  All my kids and grandkids.
Back row, left to right is my oldest grandson, Christopher, daughter-in-law Alex, son Josh,
daughter Shannon and son-in-law Ben.
Next row is Ryland, Jesse and Raegan.
In front is my youngest grandchild, Evan.

Playing from the back porch, Christopher, Jesse, Evan and Ryland

Trying to flip the spoon into a cup, Ryland came so close, just missing
by an inch and Uncle Josh laughing with him.  Too much fun!

Waiting for dark to settle in so we can make s'mores.  Jesse and
Evan planning a trip in the Ranger.

Evan and Jesse, having met for the first time became the
best of buddies, cousins truly enjoying each other.

Learning how to shoot a bow and arrow.  All the kids got lessons
from a good friend of Larry's.  I call him "Archer" because his name
is Larry also and I am so easily confused, I gave him a nickname.
A great guy, and very patient with the kids teaching how to
be safe and enjoy archery.

Took a trip to Knobels.  The first ride was this
water ride and they got SOAKED!  They had a great
time, it was an awesome day.

Splashing down

Definitely fun and wet!  They all enjoyed it.

A simple activity but the competition side of all of them came out.

We were fortunate enough to attend a baseball game of Ryland's team.
Here he is up at bat.  He did GREAT!

Also, Raegan's softball team.  Here she is at
third base, ready to run to home.  She scored!

It was a great visit, we all enjoyed it a lot.  I got to learn how to make fresh tamales too!  Our week was so full of activities and just spending time with each other.  One week wasn't long enough, it never seems like there's enough time when it's a vacation.  Next time, we'll do all or at least some of the other things we had planned but ran out of time.  It was AWESOME for Grandma!!
